I still swear by my 576XP, but there is always a “right tool” for the job at hand.

Enquiring minds need to know how a cat caused 1200 of damage?
You must have swereved and hit something else right?
Or was it robocat, made out of metal?
Either way, that sucks bad. Sorry to hear.

The cat hit on the thin piece of bumper below the fog light assembly, damaging the parking sensor, the fog/driving light and cracking the bumper.

Bumper needs to be replaced now, likely the sensor and at minimum light housing. It’s a BMW so parts aren't cheap.

Cat didn’t make it. It was on the freeway, I was going 80 miles an hour or so and I only know it was a cat cause I pulled over to check the damage and I went back to see what it was that I hit.

^^^The funny as heck part would be lost on the audience, and the truthful part would only be met with a look somewhat akin to a deer in the headlights crossed with with miss manners observing the aftermath of a college fraternity party. There is no meme for this. It just sheer bewilderment.

weather not so great today. yesterday was sunny and snow all melted away in town. Woke up today to new snow. hah.
landscaping season is almost upon us here, so I will soon have my chances to be putting my CPKs to work.
Had the FK2 out with me hunting coyote yesterday, but i got skunked unfortunately.
