Was something said/ done that's not in the busse thread any longer? Or are you both saying the post is like a veiled shot? Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything

Everyone interprets things on the internet differently.... I didn't see Anything disrespectful.
No names, or anything was mentioned.

Nathan says He's the best on His forum.
Jerry says He's the Best on his Own forum.....

What's wrong with that?

I have respect for makers who feel they are better. Isn't that why everyone makes their knives the way they want them to be?

I just assume all/most Maker's feel their own work is better than the competition.

Again, on his forum he can say what he wants....Right?
 
The issue is not whether one has a favorite or not. If you want to trumpet your champion's knives, do so in his or her sub-forum, or in the General Knife Discussion forum. Nothing wrong with liking one maker's wares better than another.

We only ask that folks have the basic courtesy of respecting the owner of the sub-forum which they are visiting. Membership here does not bestow or confer cartes blanche.

Nate and Jo are gracious enough to have threads available to discuss the work of other makers that our members enjoy aside from CPK. That speaks volumes about their integrity as well as their confidence in the quality of their own work.

It really didn't belong here is the point. I don't go into other makers' forums or their threads, (if they don't have a forum),...and shit post or talk bad about them even if I don't like them. Or, look to stir up a hornet's nest.

(With rare exceptions for those whose character has been proven to be less than reputable by their deeds.)
