How do you really feel though?Like, really, would it kill Spyderco to produce a fixed blade consistently that wasn't the most horrendously ugly thing you've ever seen? They've done it before, they just discontinue them after 5 minutes for whatever reason.
You can't tell me they couldn't just contract something out to Seki for like, a simple full tang with bolt on FRN scales or a hidden tang with a molded FRN handle
If they can make the Mule Team blanks why couldn't they make something similar or even the same exact thing with FRN scales in VG-10?
COME THE HELL ON
I love Spyderco so much it hurts but why must they do this
You're right about the discontinued thing ..... though I usually don't care so much about that, if I want one, I will find one ... easier than finding a specific CPK for sure.
The one Spyderco that is in storage and that I'm missing is the Gayle Bradley in PSF27 ... what a cool knife ... except the hole in the blade. That is branding gone overboard.
How else will you open it.....When they started putting the holes in their fixed blades, many of us told them it was a bad idea. They persisted.![]()
I'm intrigued by your ideas and wish to subscribe to your newsletter. How else will you open it.....

Kinda picking up vibes that you don’t like the looks of their fixed blades…..![]()

That's in case someone misses the laser etched logo or the laser etched brand name. The one Spyderco that is in storage and that I'm missing is the Gayle Bradley in PSF27 ... what a cool knife ... except the hole in the blade. That is branding gone overboard.
