Like, really, would it kill Spyderco to produce a fixed blade consistently that wasn't the most horrendously ugly thing you've ever seen? They've done it before, they just discontinue them after 5 minutes for whatever reason.

You can't tell me they couldn't just contract something out to Seki for like, a simple full tang with bolt on FRN scales or a hidden tang with a molded FRN handle

If they can make the Mule Team blanks why couldn't they make something similar or even the same exact thing with FRN scales in VG-10?

COME THE HELL ON

I love Spyderco so much it hurts but why must they do this

How do you really feel though?

Kinda picking up vibes that you don’t like the looks of their fixed blades….. 😁😉

You're right about the discontinued thing ..... though I usually don't care so much about that, if I want one, I will find one ... easier than finding a specific CPK for sure.

The one Spyderco that is in storage and that I'm missing is the Gayle Bradley in PSF27 ... what a cool knife ... except the hole in the blade. That is branding gone overboard.

Oofftta

Yeah I just looked at it. I would not have put that hole there.

Don't get me wrong, they've made some nice ones.... then discontinued them for no reason. The Bill Moran one isn't too bad though!

When they started putting the holes in their fixed blades, many of us told them it was a bad idea. They persisted. 🤷‍♂️

I don't even care about that, it's just maddening that they get rid of all their good fixed blades. I wish I'd have gotten a Temperance fixed blade while they were available.
