You can load up a bunch of them, when rounds are spent pull the empty one off and slap on a loaded 1

I was just getting sad thinking about putting a Velcro strip on my gun

This guy in San Diego ("RLO") makes some really nice "butt leather". I use him for cheek rests, but he makes shell holders, too.

BTW, I wish @cpirtle or @duramax would branch out into gun leather (cheek rests, holsters, slings, etc. ....).

Right. He made me a sheath for my OKT Ferox, it's outstanding. He stopped the sheaths but still does the gun stuff, I believe.

Can you run a side saddle and match saver together on those?

Side saddle, or better yet, some Esstac shotgun cards. I ran a bandolier before and it just got in the way, was heavy, and loops would lose elasticity over time and shells would slowly fall out.

I’ll grab a shot of my Esstac cards for ya…

The esstac are exactly what I was talking about!

Make sure you let the Velcro tape adhere to the receiver very well, preferably over night. If not, the cards are curved and may pull up the Velcro tape at the edge. I had to start over with a fresh piece when I learned this.

This is my Mossberg Maverick that serves strictly as a bump in the night long gun. It has a Surefire light on it, Esstac cards, Hogue reduced LOP stock, and is a formidable weapon when loaded with buckshot and slugs!

The adhesive from the tape will all disappear with some alcohol and cotton balls.
