At the behest of a fellow forum member I shall share this advice:
The saying “Never Trust a Fart” holds infinite value after starting a colonoscopy prep, no matter how soon you start.

Took me a second to get it, which was longer than I had before disaster struckSomebody slipped past security hahahahaha
It wasn’t bad the first time I had one, but this time was….differentThe prep is, by far, the worst part![]()

I got less than an hour of sleep and only did half of the last part.
Good God man!!!I threw up
I would advise looking into it carefully (the option. Not the box).Good God man!!!
You aren’t supposed to mix the prep with alcohol
There’s always the box thing. My brother does that now.

A couple times
In fact I would consider it vomiting out of both ends
I think, going forward, I'm just going to take my chances with this whole colon cancer thing.
That’s why I went the Roto Rooter Route.I would advise looking into it carefully (the option. Not the box).
Most insurance companies will pay for ONE diagnostic procedure. If the box procedure shows a positive (and that option has both false positives and negatives), you will then need to schedule a colonoscopy. Because the box counted as your ‘one procedure’ the colonoscopy now isn’t covered.
Which prep did you do?I threw up

Of the various options, I tend to recommend the MiraLAX + Gatorade/Powerade prep. Provides good results, and aside from pissing from the wrong orifice, really doesn’t feel/taste any different from chugging two bottles of Gatorade (the MiraLAX has no flavor, and doesn’t affect the taste of the Gatorade).
GoLytely is the one I recommend avoiding. That stuff is just nasty. It’s supposed to be lemon flavored (or they might have a lemon flavored option), but it literally tastes like you’re being forced to drink a gallon of someone’s sweat. It’s slightly salty, and slightly greasy.![]()
BUY IT!!!!
Wondered if that was you.I was just about ready to cave in but thankfully it sold before I could buy it. LOL!![]()

Rising incidence of colon cancer is crazy. I'm a nurse at a cancer center, colorectal cancer is one of the most commonly diagnosed and the number of patients in their 40s or even 30s seems to be growing every year.
Shitty as it is, I'm planning to start screening at 35
