My wife got a mahjong set for Christmas and was so excited that she watched a dozen instructional videos, then explained all of it to me in detail (it was a long car ride). The very same evening, my Instagram account started posting ads for mahjong mats, tables, carrying cases, instruction courses, tiles, etc. I hadn't looked up anything to do with mahjong, ever, but evidently having my phone within earshot is enough. It's always listening.

By the way, speaking of snowmobiles…
My car’s idler pulley for the drive belt was making noise, so I replaced it. Now it’s whining again 😕

Does this ever happen to you? You actually love your car, you’re used to it, you’re attached to it… and then it does everything in its power to make you start hating it or at least get extremely pissed off.
Like these are the most unnecessarily complicated, toxic-ass relationship ever.

Even when everything’s been fine for a long time with zero issues — you still know this true nature. Deep down you understand: sooner or later, it’s gonna happen over again.

Same thing with this goddamn pulley. If I don’t replace it, knowing my car, it’ll either explode or leave me stranded on the side of the road — and of course it’ll happen during a long trip.

But if I replace it and it starts whining for the third time… I swear I’m gonna be the one blowing the car up myself.

Seriously. The most difficult relationship in my entire life is the one I have with my own car.
