Random Thought Thread

That's not what's happening in New England. For example, people fed up with MA's insane house prices and taxes are moving over the border to NH. And they're voting for everything they did when they were MA residents.

P.S. I'm a CT resident extremely salty about MA's gun laws. A Non-resident permit is only valid for 1 year. I can no longer hunt waterfowl in MA with a semi-auto.
If voting mattered they wouldn't let you do it

Not true

Here in North Carolina we elected Representatives that decided that North Carolina should join the small majority of state that have implemented constitutional carry.

Our votes directly led to that change in legislation

Well, I mean it didn't really. The governor vetoed it.

But then our representatives are coming together to push it through anyway

Except they didn't

Actually, you know what? Never mind...

I see what you mean. I stand corrected.

Matthew, next time you are in the Algonquin Park area, shoot me a DM. I’m super close. I have a lot of family history at APP.

I canoed up there for a week or more back in the 80's. Had a great time. Of course it wasn't during the winter.

In ages past, I used to spend a lot of time up there, snowshoe camping in the winter and canoeing in the spring and summer. The black flies up there are legendary, and I’ve left quarts of blood in that park. Got my first and second cases of frostbite there, too.

Haha. Yup. Spring/summer are the worst for the biting bugs. Fall is the best time to camp.

There are other awesome parks within an hour or two that are great. Like I said, if you’re in the APP area…gimme a shout. 👍🏼
