Since we aren't promised tomorrow, and it's always today in any event, everyday is the last day of your life.
But how do we know it's always today...

We need to call an official CPK certified epistemologist to answer: "how we know what we know, and how we know we know it".

And sloppy solipsists need not apply. ☺️ 🍺

I doubt, therefore I am - or what is the same - I think, therefore I am. - some guy who collected horse carts, or something

You doubt what you know, therefore you know that you know it. The real issue is how do you know that what you know is correct?

So if it was your last day..... how many things in that day would you let bother or irritate you ?

I try my hardest not to let things irritate me ... it can be very tough to impossible sometimes but I try
I'm working on it. I usually practice avoidance since I am not good at not being annoyed/irritated. A man has to know his limitations. 🤠

I have a problem with irritation, specifically over small things.
I don’t know why, but usually some complete nonsense can really set me off.
Like at work or in everyday life — someone says some stupid or ignorant crap to me.
But I calm down pretty quickly.

Some kind of everyday trivial thing that isn’t really a problem at all — and boom, for some reason I flare up. But literally for just a couple of minutes, and I’ve learned to control it.

In emergency situations, on the contrary, I somehow stay pretty well-oriented and can get out of them just fine.

The most important thing is recognizing it and fixing it.
I know about myself that I’m a difficult person, and I’ve even gone through problems related to my difficult character.
I’m proud that I went through that.

Now I’m pretty chill…
But when the generator roller is making noise because of the frost…!

Anyway, the most important thing is that today I picked up a bunch of jerky. The guy who owns the shop kindly agreed to make it with exactly the spices I asked for — now it’s spicy.
Also, there’s beer in the freezer on a timer.

Out of 35 minutes of waiting, there are about 20 minutes left.
I feel like I’m feeling really damn good right now.

I wanted to make habanero jerky myself, but my wife politely forbade me from doing that.
So I ordered it from the guy who owns a beer shop. He makes all kinds of stuff to go with beer himself.

Life is too short and fleeting to morally combust or get irritated over something…
And also too short to not drink beer with habanero meat chips.

(Plus the song his quote is from is pretty hilarious)
If I got to pick and choose what bothered or irritated me.....I'd never be bothered or irritated but busy as hell avoiding the things that do.
