I’d dream of something like a 6-liter or bigger diesel engine, with insane torque. The car should be just a bit smaller than the Killdozer, you know, so I could still actually drive it to the supermarket.

And it should belch thick black smoke out of the exhaust. Dual exhausts, like on a sports car.

And it should cause cancer or something like that—or at the very least, by the smell alone everyone should instantly know I’ve arrived (the smell of my exhaust fumes).
🥰
No joke, we have plenty of those here in Florida.

You know, I just replaced the pulley on my Mitsubishi — it doesn’t make that noise anymore and the car actually drives properly now 😎
V6 is pretty cool. This is my first car, and yeah, I could’ve bought something new, but I kinda have this personal protest against modern cars.

Seriously, it’s some kind of scam. Why did cars stop being seen as a reliable friend?

Way back with the Model T.

Seriously, I have a real problem — I look at most cars out there and I just don’t want them.
I like Toyota and Lexus.

But for some reason I don’t want to replace my Mitsubishi.
At least I know exactly what to expect from this damn thing, and I actually like my car.

There have been so many situations, especially in shitty weather or freezing cold, when mine was literally the only one that kept going.

I forced a regen on my truck last weekend. I’m not sure if it’s better, or all the archoil I’ve been adding. But by now it should be 30% full on the DPF by now, and it’s still at 0% full. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Since I started using it I haven't noticed a regen. The particle filter usually stays at 0%. Sometimes it'll get up around 15% but as soon as I start using it normally it goes right back to zero

Poe’s law and all that.

Sorry, I’m slow today.

Not mine but:

Met with a young European founder

He's 47-years old and just completed his business degree at university

He's looking to raise some funding

"What does your business do?" I asked

He paused.

"unfortunately, due to GDPR privacy concerns, I am unable to disclose the nature of our business model at this time," he told me.

I smiled.

This young guy is clearly on his way to being a great European founder.

I invested €4,500 into his Series A immediately, pending government approval.

Can't wait to see how this investment turns out in a few decades

Granby, Colorado. I spend a lot of time up there. That dude was insane.

This data center in Europe processes up to 30 megabytes of AI data every single day

Plus, the second floor is an affordable apartment for an immigrant

I think you got your numbers wrong there, pard. 30 MB is nuthin. 🤣

The Toyota diesel Hilux truck

Inexpensive, durable, efficient, runs forever, manual transmission, very clean by the standards of when I was a kid, not allowed in this country
I wish they'd import these AND the Hilux Surf (4Runner)!!!

No, seriously, I actually have this problem: sometimes I’m being ironic or joking, and people ask me, like, 'You’re saying that as a joke, right?'
And then other times, when I’m speaking completely seriously about something, they still ask the same thing: 'You’re joking, aren’t you? Right?'
Hmmmmm
🙄
