That's how it always goes.
I just told someone about something, and boom — I'm right back in some weird story.
Funny, dramatic, and completely stupid all at once.

That's exactly why I decided to become more mindful.

Damn, seriously — I can't even drop a photo of a knife with a serrated handle without getting dragged into some dramatic and hilariously absurd situation.

I must’ve missed the drama/controversy. All I know was that back then, he was at least one of the few folks who understood some basic mechanics of chopping, and blade geometry and ergonomics etc.

Most of the other ‘knife reviewers’ I’d watched on YouTube, tended to the category of clueless ‘influencer wannabe’ showing snippets of them cluelessly whaling away at a piece of wood like a 3 year old with ‘Baby’s first drum set’.

It was one of the ways I’d quickly vet videos/channels. I’d quickly scroll to them chopping something. If they were too clueless to even understand the concept of a V-notch, I wouldn’t waste anymore time.

The listed price is something like $10, but for just $4 the passenger gets to spin a roulette-style wheel: either the ride becomes super cheap, or he doesn't get picked up at all and has to walk.
