Random Thought Thread

Tomorrow is one of those days when I need all the luck / good fortune / whatever you want to call it. So if you have any to spare, throw some into my pocket or something.

I’m taking my Labrador to the vets to find out more precisely whether he has cancer or not.

And if there’s any luck left, I need some for it to be the kind that’s easier to deal with.

I've got a bunch of old dried up ones now that I've let my humidors dry out. I haven't had a cigar in a couple years now.

Well

You're starting to get a little older and on in years.

BUT IT IS NEVER TOO LATE TO MAKE BAD LIFE CHOICES

You can just have fun bouncing on it while holding the little handles, or do some stretching.

Just don’t jump too hard, you might hit your head on the ceiling.

I had one like that. I accidentally punctured it with something. It wasn’t even mine, it was my wife’s.

She was upset for a long time.

I don’t remember how it happened.

It also had some kind of smile on it or something like that.

AR-Trvlr AR-Trvlr / Nathan the Machinist Nathan the Machinist - can we clean up the EDC naming please? It's highly confusing.

The Encyclopedia stops at "EDC3" in 2019, unless I'm missing something. What others call EDC 1.2, Nathan calls "the 2024 version of the 3" EDC". Etc.

Best in the Encyclopedia, IMO. Let me know how I can help.

Thanks !

Roland.

I'm thinking about the next batch, being the daily everyday carry, or the DEC.

That's me and Mom getting sushi last weekend

I told her about my naming conventions

She says, "oh my goodness, that sounds like a great idea you're so very smart" (unsarcastically)

I told her, I have a light, medium and heavy chopper. Except I don't. But I used to. So I'm going to take the "Medium Chopper" and make it my standard chopper and then I'm going to call it "The Standard Chopper" and she said, yes that makes perfect sense.
