This is something I've never understood....... when it gets to the point that the person can not move or wipe themselves.....

Stop giving them take out
The 600 lb patient had a very nice family…🙄
At home they put a fridge on one side of her bed and a warming plate on the other so she could simply partially roll side to side to get more grub. She had lots of skin breakdown which led to sepsis from feces…. Massive gangrene and organ failure. Truly astounding.

The size of a 400lb person is impressive. When you see someone over 800 lbs, the shape truly looks like a Hershey’s Kiss with a head.

Again, I don’t disagree. However, you cannot force someone to be healthy, or smart, or safe, or fill in the blank. All you can do is offer an alternative.
What is exactly safe.....I had a friend who worked out with a fitness freak

She said pretty much everything was bad ... worked out all the time....

Had a heart attack at 29

I was pretty much the hatred of her existence....

I'm still here (suck it)

I'm sorry not trying to come at you in any way

I have had open heart patients who were seemingly the epitome of health (other than genetics), and low life druggies who survived everything. Sometimes things don’t make sense.

One of my favorite cardio-thoracic surgeons died during a triathlon.

My friend's brother died 2 weeks ago. Age 50. He was the "healthy" one in the family. Vegan and competitive cyclist. He was at a race that morning, had just completed his warmup and was making adjustments to the bike. His wife, reading a book in the car, heard him fall. Blood came out of his mouth and he couldn't be revived. They were shocked and had an autopsy, but it was inconclusive.

Damn sorry for your loss Richard 😞
