BTW, just a heads up for fellow CPK’ers.

Sooo… the fun and festivities in the Middle East has resulted in ~70% of the world’s production of Grp III synthetic oils going offline (and it’s unknown when they’ll be back online. One of the Pearl Group lines may take up to a year).

Especially for folks doing their own oil changes, who have the ability to stack and store motor oil, you might want to consider getting some before prices go up.

A big US distributor has already mentioned that Grp IIIs have spiked 45%, and as formulators begin taking the hit, it will pass down to the consumer/retail level (and no idea if there may be scarcity/shortages later in the year. It depends on how badly the facilities have been damaged, and how long it takes to get them back online).

Wheee… 🙄

Everyone, let’s rejoice with song and dance because I just received an ATF approval this morning.
I wish we (the people) would stop being so divided so that enough states could elect real representatives to congress instead of the "we-really-are-two-different-parties" political heels we all have in there. Then maybe we could actually get something done to improve the country (don't want to get into specifics here) and get the damn NFA amended at least or repealed at best.

The parameters/provisions of the GCA and NFA are nonsensical and ridiculous. It's insane to me that Canadians have easier access to short barrel shotguns than Americans (from my understanding anyway; I could be mistaken) and that suppressors are loosely regulated (if at all) for many Europeans (definitely New Zealanders). If I'm wrong about the short barreled shotguns or suppressors, please correct me.

For 91 grand i sure hope it would have transmission issues.

I mean where's your spirit of adventure if you're not leaving it on the side of the road and taking a walk?
For me, the priority is getting there and back reliably; spirit of adventure be damned.

Yup.

In many other countries, suppressors are over the counter accessories.

You know what would be really nice? If the party was not listed on the ballot.
Egads, then people would have to think for themselves. Or they'd go eeny-meeny-miney-mo. Or vote for the one that was the same religion, race, ethnicity...or good looking, athletic, glib or what have you?

Anything but making an informed choice!
