If I were the president of the world, or something like that,

I’d just swing the pendulum from side to side every few years, creating the illusion that the paradigm is shifting one way or another.

But in reality, I’d be nudging it in the direction it’s already heading anyway.

Also, I’d create some kind of AI that analyzes everything you’ve ever written on the internet throughout your life, and then send all of us for “re-education,” so you’d learn to use the “right,” more diverse words and all that.

And I wouldn’t ban information — on the contrary, there should be so much information that you can’t tell reality from fiction anymore (hello AI generation — you already can’t always tell if something was actually said by a person or not).

Clip thinking, all that stuff.

Actually, based on this concept, everything is moving exactly as it should. It seems to us that the pendulum has swung somewhere we like, but we understand that it’s not really the case.

And soon, literally in a few years, we’ll probably return to the point where, if I were the president of the world, I’d send you for re-education first.

Something like remasters being made of everything we once loved.

Old Timmy > Timmy Remastered.

Something like The Lord of the Rings > The Rings of Power.

Alright guys, I’m gonna go to sleep.

I just like doing mental gymnastics and fantasizing.

This was just a thought experiment, by the way — everything I said is nonsense.

There’s no question whatsoever that I’m an unabashed tech geek. Anyone who recalls my post about my dongle would know 😅

Well I just managed to find a new piece of tech I’d been looking for. A portable powerful vibrator.

I’d tried some cheaper options, but they just weren’t satisfying. Too weak. I wanted a stronger vibrator.

(tried one of the ~$60 units off Amazon. Didn’t do crap. Even the $20-something dollar ultrasonic retainer cleaner works far better)

After looking around, I finally managed to source one of these.


Just tested it and confirmed that the video above isn’t fake. This thing WILL shred a piece of aluminum foil on the 12-minute setting.

I didn’t buy it to shred aluminum foil (or clean engine parts, I have an ultrasonic tank for that), I was looking for one of these portable/dunkable units that actually works, specifically for cleaning fruits and veggies where scrubbing isn’t feasible. I think this will do the trick. It didn’t shred the grapes.
