There’s no question whatsoever that I’m an unabashed tech geek. Anyone who recalls my post about my dongle would know 😅

Well I just managed to find a new piece of tech I’d been looking for. A portable powerful vibrator.

I’d tried some cheaper options, but they just weren’t satisfying. Too weak. I wanted a stronger vibrator.

(tried one of the ~$60 units off Amazon. Didn’t do crap. Even the $20-something dollar ultrasonic retainer cleaner works far better)

After looking around, I finally managed to source one of these.

Just tested it and confirmed that the video above isn’t fake. This thing WILL shred a piece of aluminum foil on the 12-minute setting.

I didn’t buy it to shred aluminum foil (or clean engine parts, I have an ultrasonic tank for that), I was looking for one of these portable/dunkable units that actually works, specifically for cleaning fruits and veggies where scrubbing isn’t feasible. I think this will do the trick. It didn’t shred the grapes.
Man do I have a shifter you need for your vehicle!

All this talk about being prepared really has me thinking

I guess my real true skill set is a fella that can solve problems... always been my gift

Something isn't working...I can some how find a way to rig it up to work

Have a wine bottle and no cork screw... I'll run a drywall screw into that b!#$ and hand you pliers while I hold the bottle

I have the knack of just making things work out

I think that's a skill set when people witness it....it pretty much has it's own value!

I'm sure plenty of you have stories of witnessing such acts lol

Interesting. Looks like they enclosed an ultrasonic transducer in a waterproof enclosure. I’m impressed it’s moving 4-5 gallons of water. Any idea what the wattage is?

These recent geopolitical events made me brush up on the globe’s geography when I was quite surprised to discover that Greenland’s land mass is just an itty bitty larger than Saudi Arabia! Not quite sure what I was expecting but there you have it.

This right here. That’s why I know you’re a survivor, buddy. The apocalypse fantasy is something that most people who are too comfortable in life came up with, sort of an extension of teen angst that’s still rolling into their forties.

Always remember the immortal words of my buddy Patrick, gang -

“It’s way too late for pessimism, man. “

Dark Far Side:

Pessimism or optimism is just a system of how we try to look at things.

It seems to me that things have always been too multifaceted and complex to view from only one side.

If you look only at the light, the main thing is not to burn your eyes.

Something positive and good can appear in a context you never would have expected.

And any situation or phenomenon can give even the simplest, most primitive things a unique meaning.

That’s exactly why I find it interesting to live each day and look at the world around me.

Huh? What? Ah, never mind.
