Random Thought Thread

And let's get a random thought for Saturday shall we?

Thinking about the Blade Show. Wondering... the guy that runs Blade.

Is his title "bladerunner"?

Brzenk was an absolute beast. Top of the hookers for sure (always found that term hilarious), and I always respected the non-trash talking dignity (lookin at you, Bagent. Yeah, yeah, psychological warfare and all that. Different strokes, I guess).

Can't even imagine how many arms he would've broken if he'd chosen to become a top-roller.

May e he just didn't want to break arms.

It's possible that was the reason, but IME, the successful hookers, are hookers because they're insanely strong, and prefer the leverage/feel of the hook.

Top-rollers tend to become top-rollers after losing to a top-roller. They realize that there's a huge mechanical advantage to top-rolling an opponent, and a huge mechanical disadvantage for the person who's been top-rolled.

Very, very few people are able to make a comeback after they've been top-rolled. Brzenk's one of the few.

Top-rollers don't actually break their opponent's arm. Some people who've gotten top-rolled, break their own arm, trying to fend off the loss. Even with a hook, you could see some of the guys in the video you posted, putting themselves perilously close to that, trying to hold Brzenk off.

When a person's been top-rolled though, their forearm flexors are no longer in position to provide maximum support to the radius and ulna, making it significantly easier for them to break their own arm.

Exact opposite of TMI.

Might as well learn how to eat my yard

People have been eating grass in NK for a long time.

Does anyone remember Euell Gibbons? I remember a story about him trying to help a panhandler. The guy was holding a sign that said "I'm hungry. Please help." Gibbons offered to show him all
the edible plants in a local park. The panhandler said, "I ain't gonna eat no damn weeds!"

Ok, maybe “chew” was incorrect term, certainly didn’t mean like a bite of a plug. But that cap, I usually use my pocket knife for them also for the impromptu smoke. Unless me and a couple friends planning a smoke-in. I just had my first CAO Flathead 660 and popped that capped for a few hours after I was done smoking it. Taste just as good as the dang cigar!

I’m a Vitamin N lightweight and smoked that thing at 545 in the morning on empty stomach. It knocked my “d” in the dirt by the last inch. Had to eat a few sugar packs and crank that AC on high for 15 minutes before I could function again.
