3.5 was pretty good

Rogue One, which occurs between three and four, fits in nicely with 4, 5 and 6 and I felt it was really well done.
Rogue One is the only one of the Disneys that I've wanted to watch more than once. It's no OT but it's a genuinely solid film. Solo was kind of a mess but it was worth it for Donald Glover as young Lando. He was perfect for that role.

thinking about it Rogue One is among my favorite movies including rogue one, silence of the lambs, Blade runner (both of them), mad Max fury road, The war of the worlds remake with Tom Cruise, and of course Debbie does Dallas.

Lol on the last, but out of curiosity Nathan, are you a bassaholic?

For the unenlightened, the Tom Cruise version of WOTW is one of the all-time favorites for bassheads/infrasound nuts.

The scene where the aliens first begin emerging is my favorite demo scene. If you've ever heard it on a system that can do THX Reference or close to it, down to single Hz frequencies, it's a trip.

IIRC, Randy Thom (the sound designer) included effects going down to 3Hz in that scene (and the airplane crash). It literally shakes the floor and walls when I play it (I think the resonant frequency of my walls is somewhere between 7Hz and 10 Hz, because the grenade scene in World War Z, shakes the heck out of 'em too, and I think the low end of that was 10Hz).

If I ever win the lotto, the house I build will include a separate, sound isolated HT with a Thigpen rotary. (*** fun fact. Students in Hawaii were trying a test with infrasound and rotary subwoofers, rigging one up in a rented large U-haul. Testing the setup in the middle of nowhere, their tests were picked up by seismographs/earthquake sensors several miles away, lol)

Earlier on, I was thinking that it was almost 4 years ago exactly to the date when I had come across the name: Nathan Carothers! Someone on the old Survive! subforum had mentioned that he was extremely pleased with a Carothers Light Chopper vs the GSO-10 so the hamster residing in me-cabeza started to spin, spin and spin... My Google-fu found a couple of videos, in one of them some weirdo was in plaid shirt was cutting paper rolls and like straws under light rain in a very green kinda environment... Later on I came to discover that this weirdo was The Canadian! In another video some soft-spoken youngish looking pony-tailed guy, who I had though was no older than maybe low 30's was chopping nails and cinder blocks in his backyard and then slicing up tomatoes in his kitchen...

No particular reason to have posted this other than me becoming a sentimental fool in my old age!

Honestly, anyone who slates in the next top 5 of any sale after the leading #2 post, could've been a legit winner. The proverbial photo finish results are very very close indeed after the luck of the draw once you dial in your page refreshes.
