It'll light 'em up in the dark, and turn 'em into glowing little monsters. Good way to see for sure, if you have them in your backyard but were simply unaware of them.

Plus, you can shine it around inside the house when it's dark(er) and find hidden things like stains/organic matter in the carpeting/upholstery (some pet owners use them to find pee stains), any mold growth that isn't easily visible to the naked eye etc.

I wouldn't recommend taking it to a friend/family members home and shining it around if you know/suspect they're not particularly cleanliness oriented though. Might give you nightmares and/or create some friction/contention.

I received a couple of freebie UV flashlights with my past Olight combo purchases. They ain't much but they can shine on spots and things. If I had it on me, I would've taken a more spectacular pic of my scorpion friend from last night :)

I have an Olight i3uv eos freebie as well. Trust me, the kind in the link above is a pretty big difference.

Please move around a bit more when in the woods while playing fearsome wannabe militia so to lose that tub of lard around the midsection, if you wanna look extra badass. Also, what's up with that creampuff in the orange colored wife-beater? :eek:

Can someone please direct me to the latest list of scales that are available for the Fk2 or DEK?

Is there a light grey colored micarta? Like a lighter version of the black linen micarta

DEK1 is in what is called preproduction phase. A few were sold at the last Friday's sale but will probably take a couple of more weeks to be shipped out. The scales were different than the above and IIRC only offered in natural or black micarta (buffed & unbuffed) plus OD green. Will probably be a while before they get a full range of scales offered in different materials and colors.
