Context? Maybe if I knew the context it would change my opinion, but absent that . . . doesn't sound like "the right thing."

To be fair, he didn't say he was trying to be honest . . . he only said he was trying to be "courteous."

I’m on a boatload of painkillers so I didn’t really have the energy to spell my thoughts out but I meant more to say that he is acting “honest” to draw the buyer in, because telling it to you straight is what a friend is supposed to do. It’s a rhetorical strategy that hustlers use. The position he put Seanieo is to try to get as much money as possible out of the sale. He even went so far as to leave the door open to receiving over asking price. Acting straight just lets him do that without seeming like a schmuck. Like, what’s he going to tell the first place buyer if Seanieo does buy it over asking? “Oh sorry, I got more than asking?” Fuck no he’s going to lie or try to get more right away. Dude’s a schmuck.

edit: All right, maybe he’s not a schmuck. But it’s a schmucky thing to do, you have to admit.

So sorry to hear you are on painkillers. That has to suck. :( Hope whatever it is, they give you some relief and maybe at some point you won't need them. Take care.

Sorry to hear about the painkillers. I am taking morphine. It sucks sometimes. Sometimes I feel sleepy and when I start going to sleep, I wake up and feel like I had slept for 8 hours. Then sometimes I feel wide awake, open a soda to drink while watching TV, then wake up four or five hours later with a warm wasted soda. LOL! It's crazy.

I have never been a drug user, other than moderate caffeine and alcohol consumption I guess. But 26 years ago when I lived in SoCal I suffered a serious back injury and I could not move at all and was in horrible pain. They had to call an ambulance to take me to the hospital, and when I got there they put me on a morphine drip. Man oh man . . . it was like I was floating above my bed watching myself lie there, and I was feeling NO pain!!! Since then I've always said that if I ever do start taking drugs, that's the one I'm going for! LOL.

Anyway, sorry to hear that morphine is giving you such crazy problems. Hang in there!

My pills aren't as strong as the morphine drip but they help. It is kinda crazy but I just live with it. I hate taking the sleeping pills to try to keep regular sleep times because they make me feel like shit after I wake up. It's like having a major hangover without the headache.

Scuzzy, IMO. Is this on Facebook or something? It sounds like something the Facebook knife 'community' would do.

Not scuzzy to give someone who contacted him first right of first refusal. Definitely scuzzy to imply that if you offered him more he'd sell it to you anyway. Not scuzzy to tell the first guy no thanks if he gives an offer below asking price, though.
