edit: I got interested in CPK through my interest in the delta 3v protocol and I’ve been trying to find a non-CPK d3v ever since. Turns out they’re not that easy to find—at least for me. Nathan and the crew make it easy.

Honestly, it arrived yesterday and it's just still in the box. I did take it out and look at it before work a bit this morning--handle is a bit small, but it looks cool. I'll get some pics next week. My wife has really bad morning sickness and it's, like, this 24/7 unrelenting force of nausea. I haven't been doing much else besides taking care of her and doing everything she can't do, plus I've been scrambling to finish up some around the home projects like spackling, painting, new door knobs & etc because my parents are coming tomorrow (first time at our new place) and we're going to tell them that we're expecting. It's just been... well, whatever it is. Quite a whirlwind. But hey, delta 3V. 👈🤠👉

Sounds like you have your hands full! Congratulations! I'll wait for the photos. So, what is it exactly: Is it one of Nathans first knives that he made when he was just starting out making knives, or is it made by someone that Nathan gave permission to use his Delta heat treat?

FYI, the Delta HT was a collaboration between 3 companies/people, all 3 can use it.
 
My 15 year old son is in the Thompson Falls, Montana area today. Tomorrow we drop him off at the church, where he will meet up with some men and about 20 other boys to head up into the high mountains for 8 days in a boy's Wilderness / Survival Camp.

I can't wait to hear how it goes, but he will obviously be out of signal going off the grid. He took his cameras along, and hopes to make a YouTube video out of the adventure. I sent him along with a couple knives. It would have been really cool if I could have sent him with the new Kephart, but I did send him with an Edc.

I hope all goes well and we get to see the cool video!

I wanted to grab myself a Kephart on the previous sale but I had to put my van in the shop for a new AC compressor and stuff. When I was younger I could work in the Texas heat all day, no problem. But I can't take the heat like I used to be able to.
