Just spent a few hours swapping HDMI cables and setting the Roku display resolution between 720p, 1080p and 4K and watching the same scenes across a few shows on Hulu and Netflix. The mCable really only works if the Roku display is set to output the same resolution as the stream. 720p in the case of Hulu and either 1080p or 4K on Netflix. Original cable was a BCJ Series-1 (23.5 AWG). The mCable postprocessing is subtle, definitely more noticeable on 720p streams. Drawback is having to set the Roku display resolution every time you switch between services which stream at 720p versus 1080p versus 4K. Clicking through menus gets old fast, but the improvement (mainly the smoothing of motion blur pixelization, slight contrast adjustments and detail sharpening) is there if you are willing to accept the inconvenience of dialing in the display resolution on a per channel/per show basis...Anyone try the mCable Cinema Edition (3rd Gen) HDMI cable? Just ordered one...
I work. All day. And think about how to find some time to hike or hunt. This time of year used to be hunting time. Next year....
lol...Truth be told, I don't watch TV. At all. Part of it is trying to prevent the kids from becoming tube zombies when they ought to be playing outside. Or cleaning up. Or even fighting with one another. Screen addiction is another matter altogether. Rather, I am addicted to tech...
Buncha anti-TV snobs.
How ya gonna watch Forged In Fire?
I don't watch much TV, but I do watch Game of Thrones and Football
Yes, this seems reasonable to me! Postings between 8Pm-10PM Eastern onlyAnother field knife posted for sale past my bed time. Can Nathan make it a rule that these must be posted before 10pm eastern time? That's seems completely fair to me![]()
