Was he churning butter with the other guy? This disturbing image raises many questions, and the investigator in me cannot unsee this picture.

Nothing out of the ordinary, just a bunch of young adults partying in the woods. See, the potato gun was loaded with big marshmallows the first few times we shot it during this “game” of trying to hit people with them as they ran across a lane in the dark. He was unaware of what was coming when it was his turn to go for it lol. Not sure why he did it naked though.

Using a sock as a wad/patch will allow you to shoot a lot of stuff besides potatoes. It launched a 9-iron so far no one could find it.

A couple handfuls of grapes was our preferred 'funny to shoot your buddy with' ammo of choice.

The most fun I've ever experienced with a potato gun was during 4th of July weekend 2000, behind Rob Simonich's home in Clancy, MT, (outside of his tipi), with some drunken revelry involving lobbing (mostly) potatoes across the interstate to the other side. (I'm pretty sure we had our clothes on.)

His wife, Christine, and my wife thought we were a little silly for "supposedly" grown men. I've rarely laughed as hard.

He was one of a kind.

I miss him pretty much every day.

I should shoot it with my .308 Norma Magnum. I have a pretty good idea what will happen but that isn't the sort of video that a smart knife maker puts on the internet. I am pretty dumb though....

I once tried shooting a steel brake rotor with my .375 H&H from a distance of about 15 feet. I was very disappointed when the bullet just splattered off the rotor and left only a smear on it. But the rotor did go quite a ways after being hit!
