Day 205 at a guess.
Swamp's been down 11 or 12 days - can anyone remember the last day # ? :confused:
Maybe it was 193 but I am not sure.

I think I am through the worst of the withdrawal symptoms - now comes the battle of the mind : THE SWAMP WILL RISE AGAIN !

Hey, Wolf, you can drive me to work in that anytime !:cool:

As far as the Short bus thing goes.... Nope,never rode it...
I permanently got kicked off ALL School buses in the County in the 3rd grade....
I covered the bus drivers eyes with my hands (from behind him)...:eek:

Now that I think about it,that's when all the "Your so special" stuff
started from my mother.... :o

So....day 200+ and still kicking. I'm guessing there's nothing in the contest rules about needing to post elsewhere if the server goes down....for a really, really, really long time...but what the hey.

I second that, Wolf. :(

2 weeks - an indeterminate period of time in which hype grows and hope waxes and wanes - takes me 2 weeks to make coffee in the morning sometimes ! :D

Yep,seems like there's more than 1 design out there bearing the name MonsterMuk:
there's a design offered by Mr.Engnath (3/16 inch thick steel, 6 inches of cutting edge and 11 and 1/8" overall), and another by a different maker,about the same size.
Now,picture a 1/4" thick,flat/convex ground,10" bladed beast, 16" OAL...
like the offspring of a Chopweiler and a TacMuk...
I guess I could call mine a... WolfMuk? Heck,why not?

I am dead tired. If I wasn't in the company car I would have pulled over and taken a nap in the car.

man, the temperature just fell through the floor this week. maybe i can take my HRLM outside and carve some... ice? :o
on a good knife note, i was able to put my DSF to hard use and whack a limb off the Christmas tree that was keeping it from fitting in the stand. my girlfriend was really impressed :rolleyes:

Well, Monday night I was rudely awakened by exclamations from my daughter: "The pigs are back" Lessee... 1:30 AM ...grab the Glock (it is cold, so put on a robe) and check on the chickens into whose domicile pigs intrude.

Big sow, 10 or so 100-200 pound "juviniles" and a bunch of 50# true yearlings. All depart hastily except 1 pair of yellow-green eyes. Dark, and can't tell if pig is straight on facing me or body to left or right, head turned.

One does not shoot a pig in the face if one wants the pig dead ...decision ...shoot left and right of eyes (ever so slightly) hoping to hit body. Range about 25 yards... Double-tap Glock (.40 caliber). Pig bails toward barn with lots of ruckus. Must have missed.

Tuesday morning- gone before daylight, no chance to look for pig.

Tuesday evening- got pig. One hole, entry right side of pig, no exit (hollow-points). Dead behind barn- he made 40 yards, tore up a bit of ground and died. Too long dead to harvest meat, but one less pig to annoy chickens. Not bad for an old man, no lights, flashlight in his teeth and a quick double-tap from a double-action only Glock.

Rat Chat down, Pig down. A guy has to do something besides sleep.
