That wrap looks THIGHT, looks like you removed the innerstrands, how comfortable is that?

I did. I wanted the knife to keep its slim profile. Its still pretty comfortable due to RC's sexy handle design, but if I meant to use my knife for extended tasks I think Id leave the paracord fat and poofy for the extra padding.

Good idea with keeping it slim. Was thinking that if you used the whole cord, that it'd wind up being too fat for a leather sheath where the whole knife slides in. If I ever get myself to buy an Izula, I will have to try that out.

Do most of you use macro lense when taking the pics?
Ive got a RC4 in the mail and im debating if my camera skills are good enough to post pictures?

I usually use the macro feature on my camera when I take close up knife pics. It's about the only feature I understand on my camera. That and the button that takes the picture.

Post away cheftothestars!

Cool I have a macro feature on my Canon but I dont have a macro lense.
Im hoping my RC4 gets here on monday/tuesday with no customs issues.
Ive been looking at all the review sites for RC knives the last few weeks to take my mind off the mail!!
You know what I also didnt find one bad review about any RC knife thats impressive in itself!

This is really addictive.

Nice shot! I have such a hard time getting the lighting right when I shoot inside.

I don't know what you mean....

The trick is in the editing. Get a copy of something that will let you adjust exposure and white balance, and you're golden. I use Adobe Lightroom 2, and love it. I've also had good results with Aperture.

I also shoot too dark. I like it that way. I know it's 'wrong' :)

I prefer them darker than lighter as well. I have not sort of lighting set up at all. I just hope the sun is out and coming through the windows:) I'm no photographer so if I get a good one I'm lucky :)

Depends how you set the shot up. Low light on a camera phone is bad...but if you shade something right...you can have good luck.

If you're using a point and shoot camera, try putting a tissue, sock, or piece of paper over the flash. It'll diffuse the light, and make it look more natural. Also be aware of the angle you are to the knife. flat metal objects are unforgiving with reflection... but also very consistent and predictable.
