Funny we all share a similair kit....I build my early summer and love it ...Great kit !

Regarding the bottle holder kits, have you guys actually carried them for any amount of time? If so, how do you carry them? While I haven't done more than try mine on, it seems that the straps are a wee bit short and I might need to look for a longer strap unless I just carry it in my hand.
 
Same one as I'm using, haven't noticed it being too short for me though. Are you using it cross chest, or just shoulder hanging it? I'm not sure if the 2" is any longer, I'll compare the two and see.
 
I measured my straps and the 2" strap is about four inches longer. Not sure if that's enough to make much difference, but it is a bit longer.

BTW Tony, I probably stole the idea for mine from you! Thanks!
 
Got my photobucket account back up and running. Just one knife picture on my hard drive, but will try to take a few knives out over the weekend to get more pics. (Bear's orders!)

I tried it cross chest and it seemed to want to ride on my neck. I'll probably just try to find something longer like the 2" strap or something from one of my other bags. Thanks!

:D, not stole....the threads are to help each other have the best we can afford ,if it was posted it was meant to be shared,Excellent kits ain't they !
 
hey, i'm new to rats myself. just ordered a rat 3 and a rat 4 from chestnutridgeknifeworks.com. yourcornerstore.com had better prices, but they were out of the rat 4 until next month. they had 3's for in the upper $70-lower $80 price range.:)
 
hey mashduck i'm new to rats myself. i have a 3 and a 4 on the way. should be here fri. or sat. i ordered mine from chestnutridgeknifeworks.com. yourcornerstore.com had better prices, but0 were out of 4's until next month. if you are wanting a 3, yourcornerstore.com has them for upper$70-lower $80 in both plain and serrated. check it out because you wont find a better price(unless you're in the military or you get some kind of discount). good hunting.
 
No one should be out of RC-4 knives. If they're out it's because they failed to order them from their distributor or from us.
