Awesome. I had a feeling they'd be pretty big. I finally broke down and ordered one today :) Lets see some pics of that thing in action! I'm curious about the sticky molten fire they are supposed to produce.
 
Wait a second. Where did that pink Izula come from?! I didn't think those were available yet! I like your combination there! Those are the same colors I've been looking at; the orange handles, pink Izula, and a fire kit!

That looks just as cool as I could have imagined. Size looks about right, remember the dimensions given somewhere seemed pretty big to me. Looking forward to getting mine, I'll take it out in the blizzard conditions we have here and give it a go. Going to do some coyote calling next week, it will be coming along when it gets here.
 
pink izula is the pre production model i won from the 1st survival kit contest....I ordered it from KSF early this week I also have a box waiting on me at the po box I am hoping it is my izula from KSF as well.....only thing I have on order....

The RAT fire kit is sweet ,a real subtle green anodized. alot of room inside the handle for some quick tinder tabs .I will order 2 more after Xmas
 
The catalogue says that the rod is replaceable, how is it fastened in there?

Why didn't you let The Missus hold three or four of them avatar RAT knives hostage until Christmas in a prisoner swap for the fire kit? :D

Rest assured that it does indeed throw "sticky molten fire". My son and I have used our's on several occasions and it is really something to see. Tried to get some pics, but not much luck. I'll try and get some soon and post 'em.

Mine came in today with my Izula. There is a phillips head screw in the bottom of the inside of the capsule. My guess is you unscrew the old rod and put in the new one. Great design!
 
I have to add that its definitley bigger than I thought. I am going to carry a small bottle of H2O purifying tabs, a couple tinder-quik, and a button compass.
