RAT machete - Imacasa

I'll take TWO! :D

Seriously, this has been the single edged thingy on the top of my list since you guys first unveiled the project. I'm addicted to three things: Machetes in general, Condor, and RAT. This is all three! It's like a dream come true!

Let's see how many million questions there will be about this simple post

Any chance of a pink, serrated edge, cardboard handled, aluminum sheathed, powder coated, 154CM, signed model? Also, can you guarantee that mine will have been used to remove the right arm of a hippie before it is shipped? (Please include arm)

All for <$20 of course.

Wow. All of these super black-op and super steel jokes haven't run their course or anything.

Sorry. Haven't had my lunchtime margarita yet.

Oh boy. Here comes the torrent of thread clutter. Let me get my umbrella. :D

Question # 2 answer: the blades will be coated with Imacasa's standard black coating

R.A.T. Have you used the new condor 1095 machetes yet ? I have one and I'm not shure if I'm the only one but from chopping one 6-8 oak branch and then batoning it my coating is already chipped of in sections . Pretty big spots actually. I'm not talking about the usual scrapping of the coating . There are spots where it has just come off. some areas seem to be bonded well to the steel and others are just aren't I guess it bonded unevenly .I will post pics as soon as I get a chance. Maybe I got a dud for coatings. The blade itself performs well andis still holding a good edge. Just a heads up . May want to check on that to avoid future headaches.

Not trying to be a smart-ass, but so what....it's a machete. If the coating comes off, no big deal. We are not going to warranty the coating and if we find out someone buys one of these as a safe queen then we will refuse to sell anything else to them :D

Will it be made available in tactical pink?

edit: d'oh got beat to that one like 3 times.

as for the coating, meh... that's what happens to machetes. Whenever I do any kind of sport, outdoor activity, etc, I look at a persons shoes. If they're brand new and shiney, I know to bet the game up a little. Worn-in gear looks cooler, and I'm actually considering offering a distressing service to make safe queens look used. "to busy to use your gear? Loan it to me, I'll whump on it, and you can tell your friends you weren't in the office all week...You crashed a plane and hiking out yourself, saving a busload of nuns along the way. And sadly, when you show your wife the scratched blade, you can use it as an excuse for buying a new knife, and explaining the claw marks on your back."

This sounds like a great user, I look forward to it being available. Maybe this and the RC-10 will slow down my Izula buying. They are just so fun to wrap in paracord then find a place put it.
