RAT owners and EDC's

So I was curious to see what you all were carrying as EDC's. I've been carrying my Microtech Amphibian for some years now and it's been awesome. I just figured out how to sharpen it to get a hair splitting edge. D2 is a serious pain to sharpen, but it keeps and edge for a long long time. As you can see it get's used a lot. It's a pricey blade but well worth it. Wish I could get and automatic from them.

Anyways, here are the pics with my RC-6. What do you carry?

I carry an Izula daily....I just don't like using broken (folding) knives that much....

If its not my Izula, which puts up a pretty good fight for RFP, then it is either a Kershaw RAM, Kershaw JYDII SG2 and Ti, or Spyderco CPM-D2 para. For the past month or so I have started carrying a SAK tinker in my back pocket next to my wallet.

(I now have a STR low rider pocket clip for the JYDII so it is also seeing a lot of pocket time)

its my EDC setting these days. As soon as my Izula arrves i replace my LaGriffe and give it a try in the everydays, but i think the izula will be duty carry. not yet decided

Well, until I get my Izula, its a couple of Spydies or a Spydie and a SOG Arcitech. I've been carrying a PE Native and a SE Delica lately.

I change up my EDC on a pretty regular basis, but the constants are usually the RC-4 on my belt and a BK-11 around my neck, with a tactical folder like my ZT 301 or RAT-1 in my RFP, and a slipjoint or SAK in my BRP.

I'm not him but I'll answer for him cause I'm an interfering busybody. That wonderful little device is a Comtech Stinger. As for my own EDC, I've been carrying my Izula lately. Before I got that it was usually my Case Trapper.

I carry an IZULA daily since I got it, haven't touched a folder (Except my Pocket Bushman in my backpack and my alox sak in my first aid kit).

Izula is my go-to work knife, but I carry an RC3 a lot too. Used the hell out of both today. Worked great.

Weekends I switch it up a bit. RC3 or 4, Hairy Carry, or Izula for fixed blades.
Benchmade 940 or 710, Lg Sebenza, or any of many Kershaws for folders usually.

Been toting my Bear Cub a lot too. Tiny little blade, but pretty damned handy.

I understand the sentiment, but it's a bit silly to refer to them as "broken." Even parenthetically.

My EDC knives RC4, Izula, SAK Tinker, and a KelTec PF9 or Khar MK9 (with a belt) in the summer, Glock19 in winter.

I EDC a bunch of different folders because my beloved RC-6 is just too large for that task.............however, that may change once I get my grubby little paws on the official RC-3 forum knife

I got a deal on a couple of Gerber Paraframes and Short cuts. I carry one of each in my pockets everyday. By the way... LOVE the RC6!:thumbup:
