Rat Pack Favorite Brew

+1 on the Abita Turbo Dog and the Brooklyn Brewery Black Chocolate Stout. Great choices!

You hop heads should check out Stone Breweries Ruination IPA. It's my favorite ultra hoppy beer so far.

I like just about anything dark, particularly Guiness, and Tatonka Stout that's put out by BJ's Brewery (a TGI Fridays style restaurant, for those unfamiliar with it). They make their own root beer too, which is pretty dang good, too.

I haven't really been much of a soda drinker since I was a kid but some of you guys inspired me to pick up a few Stewart's Root Beers at the store yesterday. Between Stewart's, IBC, and A&W (on tap from the restaurant) I think root beer might be my favorite soft drink. Closely followed by ginger ale/beer. Vernor's and Stewart's have always been my favorites of those.

Well, since you asked...

- Grolsch premium pilsener for an every day type of lager
- Some Belgian abbey brewn beers for specials: Westmalle, Cimay, Rochefort and 'Moeder Overste' (mother superior)
- as well as some 'normal' company brewn beers: Duvel, Palm, De Koninck, Pauwel Kwak

Lately I've come to appreciate the German city brewn Brauhaus beers, taste is very pure and fresh (no hangovers )

Thanks,

D-R

Makers Mark and of course PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon...as if you didnt already know what PBR meant)

Natty Greene's Brown Ale and Imperial Stout are my two favorites. They're brewed just a couple miles from my new house. Once I get settled I'm gonna visit the brewery and pub.
