Rat Pack Favorite Brew

One of my favorite styles of beer is a bourbon-barrel aged stout. Here are some fantastic offerings:

1. Williamsburg Alewerks "Cafe Royal" Stout (aged in Virginia Gentlemen bourbon barrels).

2. Hoppin' Frog Barrel-Aged B.O.R.I.S. The Crusher Stout (aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels).

3. Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout

Now if I could just get my hands on some of the extremely elusive "Firestone Walker Parabola", I would be a happy man.

Seems like Mr. Warrior knows his beer subject.

Beer aged in bourbon barrels is good.

Don't drink often... but when I do.. it's corona (if I'm on the boat or beach... which is often) - at the house... shock top. I need to try some of this shiner though, seems like everyone likes it... wonder if we have a place that sells it here...

For beer, just a Corona, but I'm not drinking until my bday (Nov 9th) friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver on the 2nd. So...eh. A cold one seems nice today on day off :)

Ha. Seems like 50% of people who posted since yesterday prefer Corona.
It's a nice beer, definitly refreshing, but I'd pick something else :p

I tried Hopsecutioner for the first time last weekend. I loved it. Big grapefruit aftertaste. Good beer.

Here's the label if anyone wants to find it.

lol........except when you put it in a buttery nipple! that's not sounding very gay now is it?

Still gay. Could be a buttery nipple belonging to a men, no?

I'm a fan of Brooklyn Brewery, myself.
Also dig me some Arrogant Bastard Ale or Rogue Dead Guy Ale lately.

I quit drinking over 2 years ago, so right now I'd have to say O'douls Amber. Before that, it was probably Riverwest Stein brewed in Milwaukee, WI. Newcastle was another fave... Now I only drink coffee, tea, and water.

You see the thing is... police don't generally like when you drink a ridiculous amount of the above mentioned beverages and drive cars around on the front lawn of a fire station with no glasses on. It was trouble like that that lead me to the decision to quit drinking, and I've never been happier/healthier. Don't get me wrong, I do miss some of it sometimes, but I am a much better boy now that I quit, so for me, it works.

I also was a huge fan of whiskey. Particularly, Jameson.

I like beer ice cold...hard to say which is my favorite. Depends on the situation meal etc.

Ok for standard domestics its Pabst Blue Ribbon. I have been drinking it for years.
If I have the money to throw down I tend to go with Guinness (like a sandwich in a can)

If you ever get the chance mix Guinness with Rogue's Dead Guy Ale. It makes a really nice Black & Tan.

It depends for some reason i switch back and forth every 6 mths or so... sometimes knob makers crown basials etc... or sam heineken basically any beer with decent flavor.

Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat stout is a current favorite, at least until Freestate starts bottling their barleywine.

I don't drink alcoholic beverages. I haven't had a drink in 22 years. Beer, wine, whiskey etc. makes me feel dizzy & then :barf:

I don't get it, the stuff is like drinking gasoline (well hard liquor anyway). 'm not an AA dude or anything. I don't care about people drinking, it just makes me feel bad. :(

Party On! :)

Don't drink much anymore, but when I do it's North Carolina IPA or Sam's Octoberfest. Used to drink a Drambuie once in a while. Stay safe Guys.

1. Becks 2. Holland 1620 3. Labatts 4. Molson Ice

When talking Spirits I would have to go with Kettle One, Stoli, or Cirac.

Wines I like a Chardonnay or a moscato.
