Rat Pack Favorite Brew

Beer:
Sam Adams Winter Lager
Cooper's Sparkling Ale
Guinness/Bass Ale Black & Tan

Booze:
Talisker
Basil Hayden
Woodford Reserve

I also love a good black and tan!
i'd also add to my list hobgoblin dark ale. found some up here, which was surprising, as i've only ever seen it in the UK. forgot how good it was.

heading down to the UK next saturday. can't wait for the first pint of sam smiths down at the local pub. :D

Ales are my favorite beer. The one I'm most fond of is Hobgoblin Ale brewed in the UK by Wychwood Brewery. There are a few places nearby that carry it on tap. Abbot Ale (UK) is also really tasty. If I can't get that, I'm a Sam Adams guy or a local micro brewer, Jailhouse Brewing. Anything by either (sans a fruity beer) is perfect.

Depends on what I'm eating/doing/weather..but it's usually Becks or Corona. Best bang for the buck I think. If I'm in the mood I'll get a 6 pack of Sam Adams.

Evan Williams bourbon is probably the ESEE knives of the bourbon world. 3% more alcohol content than most of the others, nice bottle and better taste for an affordable price.

1) Coors Light, for everyday use
2) Corona, when friends come over, or if I run out of Coors Light
3) Sierra Nevada, with dinner
4) Mojave Red, when I dirtbike ride to Ransburg, Ca

Picked out a sixer of Christmas Shiner today along with an overpriced bottle of single malt scotch. Think I might have some Makers Mark ceegars layin around somewhere too. Need to look. It is Saturday. :)

Gettin' ready to crack open some "Hoppin' Frog B.O.R.I.S" Stout (Bodacious Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout). This is one big tasty stout.

Cheers!

Sours: Roddenbach, Consecration (Russian River), Supplication (Russian River), Eric's Ale (New Belgium), La Falle (New Belgium)---As you can see I like Sours!!

Ahhhhh.... two more that I like from New Belgium. Actually, I'd say I like both of those more than the 1554.

You can tell others a lot, but you can't tell them what they like. I like Bass Pale Ale. I like it better than the Sierra Nevada, which is hoppier with a lot of Cascade aroma. I don't mind a hoppy ale if it has enough crystal malt to balance out the bitterness, but to me Bass is better balanced. There used to be an IPA called Oregon IPA which I loved. It had a huge Centennial hop aroma and good bitterness, but enough malt character to carry it. It was my favorite American style IPA other than mine.

I had that Flying Dog barley wine once I think... good stuff! You need to practice your pour a bit though, that's a ton of head man!

Drinking a Blithering Idiot right now, another great barley wine, although at 11% alcohol it must be sipped.

haha. It's a google image :p

Drinking a Lobotomy Bock @ 10.8% ABV
Tastes like a newcastle brown ale

Oh that makes sense. I've seen some guys do some really abysmal pours before.

I have heard the of the Lobotomy Bock but we don't get it around here. If I ever see any I'm going to get it right away.

Killer Penguin Barley wine isn't bad.
schlafly reserve barley wine is pretty decent, too.
so is their reserve imperial stout.
