RAT pack knife final specs

SGer - I think you are correct. I think Jeff and Shon did the RP screw heads as a prototype but I don't remember that being decided upon as a group. It was pretty cool tho' - even with the blinding orange scales.

I thought that the RP#'s were going on the pommel as well. No dissenters to that option that I can recall.

I also seem to remember that it sported serrations :confused:, big turn off for me. If they're plain edge, I'm thinking about it ;)

(I realize that earlier I stated that I wouldn't get one for sure, but you know how it goes :rolleyes:...would kinda hate anyone walking around with MY rp# on the pommel, great idea btw, of an RP-knife :o)

I'm almost positive that we had decided plain edge.

Everyone liked the RP screws if I recall.

As to the flat grind, it'll be the same standard grind as a regular RC-3. Keeps the cost down to do things as "off the shelf" as possible.

And lastly the orange.... It's orange no matter what. Any one who doesn't like orange I'll post up a pictorial after the blades are released on how to dye the scales black.
 
Has price been determined yet? I need to know how much I should save for this sick knife.
 
1.) Yes, pretty much everyone except 1 or 2 wanted a plain edge.
2.) The RP screws rule, and people were chomping at the bit for them.
3.) Jeff said there wouldn't be anything but the engraving that was not off the shelf, so a special color kydex probably isn't going to happen.

These are going to be fricken sweet. Hopefully someone doesnt want theirs....I just may want two...
