RAT pack knife final specs

Sounds good to me. Let's get rollin' on these. My craving for a new RAT blade is startin' to make me itch under the skin.

CplPunishment, don't forget about the HEST! It also comes with kydex :)
 
Looks like that's what was voted on Shotty. Only thing that wasn't "official" was the sheath and if they were to be labeled like the RC-3MIL but with RPK taking the place of MIL. I'm pretty sure we voted on the RP # on the pommel, or at least the majority didn't oppose the idea.
 
Sounds like the knife we voted on. I'll have no use for it in a rocking chair, so lets get this thing in production while I'm still young:D
 
I don't remember the pommel ... but I'm sure you're right about that, too.

Whatever happened to them lasering the RP# onto the screws? I beleive someone from the maker (Rowen?) suggested that?

Otherwise, as much as I hate Orange handles and round butt's, it sounds correct. (if you can sneak one with linen handles and a skull cruusher pommel in, I would love it).

Maybe we should start a list of who wants theirs for sure? That way no body snatches up a RP numbered blade that the person wanted..? Or at least we'd know what numbers aren't going to be purchased....

To be completely honest, I won't know if I will definitely purchase one until a price has been given.
 
I don't think Jeff will charge us out the door for these knives, but at the same time I understand if it gets put on the backburner due to other priorities. I for one won't wear a knife with an E*E logo with orange handles, so once I get mine I'll be dying/refinishing it, or doing my own handles. I may just get a few micarta blocks and make my own low-pro scales for it.
 
I'm itching for these to start production for a couple of reasons.

1 - I don't have a RC-3 yet and I want one.

2 - I won the contest that Dale from The Knife Connection had for the forum knife

3 - I still don't have a RC-3 yet. (May have to break down and buy a "normal" one to hold me over until the forum knives get ran)
