I'm still waiting on the 1/4 inch model also. I actually forgot about it for awhile, which was nice. Kinda like busting a leg and passing out for a bit. :D

Those who worry about the thickness of the 1/4" jusr remember how tall the grind is on them. It may be 2x the thickness of the RMD but its also around 2x the height. That being said the thinner stock will hold up well, slice very well, and bite into wood like a hyena with a bone. It may, however, bite too deeply when chopping wood and can bind. Remember that the Kill(something) axe and both swamprat sqorda are ~0.188" stock and are fanominal blades. The 1/4" will blask out chips while chopping and should have an advantage while splitting wood.

I can't remember but it was released after the jackmandu? I haven't seen any of them yet.

Before the JMD, they should be pretty soon.
It seems as if things coming out of the Busse shop might be moving a Lil faster than swamp rat and scrap yard right now.
I've already been dinged for the ASH-2 which was released a bit after the Ratweiler.

I just got dinged today for my BGTG. So I could do with a couple more weeks delay on the Ratweiler. Sorry, no help for this thread though... :(

That's still within the Busse "two weeks" timeframe. They'll be ready when they're ready. I'd hazard to guess within the next 8 weeks though. If someone really wanted to know, I'm sure an e-mail to Trissy or Josh would be answered promptly.
