Something really strange I have noticed on T.V. the past two weeks.
I saw Daniel Boone, with Fess Parker and he and the other guys were carrying these HUGE Knives, about the size of the RC-10. And I was just watching an old western where there was an indian uprising and AGAIN, HUGE knives. I don't remember period knives being that big, maybe I am wrong. I know there were Arkansas Toothpicks and Large Bowies, but these were just regular looking LARGE knives, strange.

But I love the design of this new RC knife!

^ I believe there was a time when the "Hudson Bay Camp" knife was widely used, a big friggin' knife, from general camp chores to the kitchen.

Big, well-designed, "do-all" knives do have their place.

This may be the one to finally replace the old Ontario RTAK that has been strapped to my 4 wheeler for years. It has taken a beaten and served fairly well it's intended purpose but to tell the truth I have never liked the handle on that darn thing. I even made it thicker and although better still not good. This thing looks comfy! :thumbup: Come spring "ole red" will be sportin' a new toy...I mean tool!
