Very interesting. I was wondering when a longer blade was gonna make it back into your product line. Might get it when it's out.

That's exactly the way I look at a knife like this: a toy. It really has no use for my world when a standard machete will do just as good. The original RTAK design was to be a cross between a sheath knife and a machete for the Peru AF guys. They liked it and used it for a while, then went back to their cheap machetes. My point being is if I needed a knife this size to chop with I'd rather have a hatchet or small forest axe, if I need to clear brush, give me a machete. Again, they are cool toys and are a decent compromise blade but what I would do with a blade like this is throw it in the truck as a survival tool.

And that's where my RTAKII is, in the truck.
This JUNGLAS MACHETE looks super! My only complaint on the RTAK was handle a bit too thick for me.

That said, I loved the sheath with the RTAK and stuffed it to the nines, Fire, para, compass, bags, wrapties, light, whistle, multi-tool, water pure tabs plus other goodies. As an all around backup. The sheath I thought, aside the plastic inside, was gold.

Any plans on something more than than a kydex?
Maybe Kydex/MolleSystem for gear heads?
 
great looking. I really am glad to see a thinner longer chopper for a change. Thick and fat are great when you don't have to carry it anywhere. But thin is in for packing it around.
 
I just got an RC6 not to long ago and it was between this one and the RC6, even though I just got the RC6, I really want the cutting power of Junglas.
