That's exactly the way I look at a knife like this: a toy. It really has no use for my world when a standard machete will do just as good. The original RTAK design was to be a cross between a sheath knife and a machete for the Peru AF guys. They liked it and used it for a while, then went back to their cheap machetes. My point being is if I needed a knife this size to chop with I'd rather have a hatchet or small forest axe, if I need to clear brush, give me a machete. Again, they are cool toys and are a decent compromise blade but what I would do with a blade like this is throw it in the truck as a survival tool.
