RC-5 SERE and Neck Knife

Jeff,

Not sure if you can answer this or not, but can you tell me what service SERE guys are ordering/buying the knife? And are they buying a whole lot of them, or just enough for their instructors? I'm just trying to figure out if they'll issue it to me. :) Gotta love the government giving me free toys.....

Tony, It should do well cutting through old airplanes. ;)

That would be great to have some photos of the SERE cutting airplane skin.

Jeff,
whenever it is release I will buy one and post some great pictures of the SERE cutting into an Aircraft !

I'm all about this SERE knife, model looks great all ready. I've decided it already has a home on my pack I keep in the Jeep. Keep us updated.

Neck knife....Hmmm... Ill get my imaginative name part of my brain going.

I am starting to get obsessed with the idea of a RAT Cutlery necker. Lets call it the "RAT Tooth" or "Fang" and start shipping them tomorrow! Maybe Monday at the latest.

I work for an Airport Fire Department. Every once in a while we find pieces of aircraft laying about. Maybe test it out on a piece of Cowling or Fuselage?

NECK KNIFE NAME:

Ok, for the neck knife, being a small detail and general work blade for around camp..(as I would use it) I got one name stuck in my head I like.

How about: PACK RAT

the RatRowe named after Col Nick Rowe founder of the army sere course.
and sounds like scoody doo saying uh oh ratrowe raggy
