RC-5 SERE and Neck Knife

As far as necker names go...Jeff in your experience what would you say is the meanest nastiest little critter in the jungle whether it be mammal, insect, fish, reptile, plant, etc? Whatever it is name it after that.
The only other thought I have is something my grandfather always used to tell me when I was a kid was that I had "moxie" cause I was a feisty little kid and would often take on more than I should but always made sure to finish what I started. He attributed it to the Irish in me and told me that it would get me into trouble sometimes but it would get me out of it even more.
So idea #1. RC-(mean jungle critter)
#2. RC-MOXIE
The moxie thing might not work though as the saying originated with a tonic drink of some form along time ago that was called Moxie. I'm not sure if anyone is still holding the ® or © on the name or not.

Very nice knife, we'll be carrying this one of course.

You may consider offering this with Foliage Green slabs, that seems to be the new military color. We will have the new Wellco Boots, 1 July, they are the Foliage Green color.

New to posting here and love the RAT line!!!!!! How about the RAT "SERE-VIVOR" ???? Straight and to the point!!!!! lol lol As for the neck knife how about the RAT "RATNECK"???? a play off "redneck of course!!!lol lol :D I also wanted to say that when I heard about the Ontario/RAT conflict I got rid of every Ontario blade except for two 12" machete's that are brand new that are my sons. They begged me to keep them. :grumpy: Just as soon as my oldest son is out of the hospital (diabete's)we are buying 3 RC3's 3 RC4's, and 3 RC6's when they come out. Can't wait!!!!!!!! :D:D Keep up the good work guy's!!!!

You have to be careful with the "rat" plays on words, as Swamp Rat uses them all the time, you'd have to be sure it's not one they've trademarked/copyrighted.

With Mike and Jeff doing jungle survival, maybe they should stick to "jungle" names, kind make that their trademark in knife names?

May I suggest some "non-rodent" names ;), related to one of the best (if not the best) jungle-fighters, the south-american Pteronura brasiliensis (giant-otter):

Ariranha
Arirai
River Wolf

Best wishes,
Ricardo

River Wolf strikes a chord with me. But has to be a bigger knife like the RC5 SERE (or if they want to keep it named SERE, it would make a good name for the RC6).

River Wolf? That's the Asatru Kindred (church) I'm in. We would all just have to get one!

How about "ritten" for the neck knife, because that's what baby rats are called...

edit: lol should have read the other thread better, nvm me :)
