Ready for my first RAT, but which one?

I just ordered the Izula Kit in black:cool:, I was gonna go with OD but changed my mind at the last second. I also ordered camo para cord, black para cord, and digital desert camo, that way I can change it up from time to time. Im still undecided about which RC I want, either the 4 or 5.

I tend to use para-cord for a number of uses, making lanyards, survival bracelets, wraps for handles, the uses for it goes on and on and it is a fun time killer when you are bored.

RC-4 = lighter, thinner blade, IMO more versatile. (Can be used for a food prep knife, utility blade, or camping knife)

RC-5 = this is probably the knife you want in a when the SHTF situation, its a tank.

I'm sure you will be happy with either one

If its any help Jetblack, on my last camping trip I took both the RC-4 and the RC-5. I thought the RC-4 made a better all around camp knife. Full flat grind, lighter, etc. If I were to go primitive (no camper, tent, etc.) I'd want the RC-5.

Both are great knives. If you want tank, get the RC-5!

I'm gonna end up getting them all, so I guess I'll just draw a # out of a hat, and order that one next. ( ordered the Izula today)
Again, thanks to everyone for all the great info.
