I just love old pocketworn knives. There's nothing wrong with the new "Pocketworn" knives from Case, but I'm talking about knives that have been polished smooth like river rocks from many years of carry.

Anyone else agree? Let's see 'em!

I don't know the age of this Ulster whittler but it's plenty old enough to have been carried for years, more likely decades by others prior to when I acquired it around 7-10 years ago.
The Bayonne jack knife in the third pic is pre 1911 as that is the date that the Bayonne Knife Co went out of business.

Nice idea for a thread Rachael.

It obviously takes a long time. I’ve been carrying a Russlock every day for 4 years and it still looks nearly new.
It certainly takes a long while, though it maybe somewhat faster when folks only owned one knife at a time.

Thanks! Isn't it great to carry a centenarian in your pocket?
