Reate productions on par with high-end mid-techs?

Since it's a Reate Thread, here the picture of my Valhalla again, for good measure:

Gotta hand it to Reate .Their 1st models right out of the gate was the horizon A,B and district 9,and they have only gotten better and better since. They even corrected the bad early pocket clip on the D9 pretty fast too.

Yeah I handle a lot of knives and I've been nothing but impressed... They even include extra screws! Gotta hand it to them!

Clax!!!
It is huge.
It chops things.
It fits on your belt (kgd had a picture of me climbing a tree while wearing it...wish I still had that picture :( ).

It will make you the most interesting person in the world. ;)
I thought I was done buying production fixed blades until I saw this. Hunting for one now. Looks like a lot of fun to de-limb trees with.

Edit: It looks like they're out of production? If you can point me in the direction of one, that would be awesome.

Wow, looking at the prices for those things at W&W, I won't be buying any Reate's any time soon.

Best suggestion I have is a "Wanted to Buy" thread.
And keep an eye out on the exchange here. They rarely come up for sale, but occasionally do. :)

You can find them in the exchange but you better be quick. I bought my Torrent from a friend who is a Reate dealer. I bet if you asked him nicely he might let you make a couple of payments! :D

on these forums, for sale by individual, in Canada (under international buy/sell) someone is selling a few Ruike for good prices relatively speaking. If you like Reate you'll probably like Ruike

I don’t think I would consider Ruike and Reate to be in the same category of quality.

I think people who are buying Reate are looking for something a little further up the food chain that Ruike.
