Recent outages and the road map to preventing them in the future

Holy Crap! It's been worse in the last hour than in the last month. I'd post a mad smiley but it would just piss me off in taking longer.
 
Lagging like crazy for me the last few days. Almost every time I log on.

Edited to add: BFC went into a lag when I tried to post the above comment.
 
It has been really bad the last couple of hours. I have had several instances where it took over fifteen minutes to load a page.
 
I got 20mb download speed
It's SUPER LAGGY for me the last 3 days
I feel for you guys with a slow connection :(

 
Just had a "cannot find DNS server" error. I also am noticing sometimes that folks may post pics, but sometimes, only some of them are showing up. This is odd given that most folks probably post all the pics in the same way however they do it.
 
16 lags or blank screens in 1.5hrs.

Do the people that host this site have a presence here?
I'd like to tell them something. :thumbdn:
 
What is the deal?
I click a link and nothing happens.
The site just sits there.
When I finally get a page to load it takes almost a whole minute.
This has been going on for a while now.

It's been so bad lately that I've actually been avoiding the site. No sense in just getting frustrated.
 
Its not too bad for me right now, but last night was horrible. Minutes would go by and then the timed out message would appear. Like Samael, I just closed out and gave up.

I've also been getting some strange "You will now be returned to your Poll" or something like that when I'm replying to a thread with no poll.
 
some pictures i do not get but i am in china. that has been this way for a long time.

as for delay its not too bad here. about like most sites in the usa.

i still think it could be a domestic issue

Same here tonight. It's just not worth surfing the site when every other click is a "Server Timed Out" or a prolonged lag before the page pulls up. It took forever to get to this thread.

True Dat! Every 5th or 6th move and it's a stall. I can't drink enough to make this not irritating.:grumpy:

I'm getting a slight lag, and just had a failure to load page.

I also have gotten link failures when attempting to go to another subforum.
 
It was lagging something fierce this morning around 10am EST.It took over 5min to load,when I clicked on a thread.

This has got to be frustrating for Spark.I'm sure he's doing everything possible to fix this.
 
BFC is zooming along at the moment. Of course, it's past 1 a.m.
 
Zooming right now too. Of course, I'm sure that will change.
