Recommend a knife to the President

I have this covered:

This is actually the perfect knife. It's gold, it has his name on it, and it's made in China. And it's huge. (9" OAL, 10oz!)

But I would not suggest sending him a knife as a gift... he will most likely cut himself and sue you.

Another knife I just remembered he should carry is a 24" machete, because he's gonna need it while he's out there draining the swamp.

BTW the right person was elected, even if only because the opposition was just so horrible.
You don't have to like him, but he may end up doing a good job.

What is a thread FULL of posts like that doing here in GKD? Who thought this thread would work out fine?

IBTM.

There are some topics that aren't going to be an easy fit anywhere. This one is so topical, we don't have to worry about how well or where it fits for long.

Kershaw Link.

Made in USA of quality materials to a price point to compete with the knives that are being sourced offshore.

Even though the new President is a Billionaire, he still appreciates value.

I would also vote for the nice CRK that Ted posted, and also one of the very patriotic customized ZT0562s that I have seen here on Bladeforums and made by a supporting vendor MidnightSun -

Ok. So we can do politics or political satire in GKD if its "topical."

No, we can if the mod staff is willing to let it go, if the conversation is polite, if, if. Don't expect a pre-established policy.

Try teasing with political satire and see how fast you end up in the dumbass thread.

You guys are drifting and this thread if it doesn't stay on topic could get closed, leave the political humor out and this might just go a few pages,

Now as to the OP's question, He should get 2 knives an SAK Executive because he's the Chief Executive so maybe a knice Swiss Bianco rendition of the Executive.

I would agree with a special dressed-up version of the SAK Executive. Although, to be honest, I cannot imagine Trump ever carrying any type of knife, even a small pocketknife.

Buck Squire or Prince, as long as it American, so that it is not outsourced to another nation which seems to be in line with his ideas. Or higher end, something from William Henry. I think the last modern president that may have carried I think was Eisenhower. It would be neat to see what knives other presidents carried.

Actually, there is a White House recordibg of then President LBJ ordring new slacks from Hagger, I believe it wes, with extra deep pockets, because his knife kept falling out of his pocket when he sat down.

I don't know what he carried, but considering the era and where he was from, I would guess a stockman, trapper, or maybe a Barlow.
After 1964, I would not be surprised if he had a Buck 110 on his belt, under his suit coat.

Ss for the OP's question, Trump being a businessman, and his plans for Washington lifetime politicians, I'd suggest a Buck 301 or a Case trapper. The Spay blade might just come in handy when dealing with Congress ...
