Recommendation for office carry

Most of the other knives suggested in this thread would land me in HR in a heartbeat. :D.

Me too. But I have pulled my Classic and my Peanut at the office many times....and nobody bats an eye. People percieve no threat from them and they do what I need to do at the office. I can open a box, file down a nail, get lunch outta my teeth all with the SAK (just recently saved a female coworker with a sliver with my handy tweezers! Now that's "gentlemanly"!)...and, really, how much other cutting does one do at the office?

I have yet to encounter a "knife task" at the office that the Cassic or Peanut can't do.

Wow thanks for all the replies guys I already have a ladybug on my keys but ill look into all the suggestions when I get back from work! Keep them coming guys greatly appreciated!

I'll second the recommendation for the buck lux. Especially if you are wanting a modern, locking folder with a pocket clip. Of course if you are willing to go traditional then the possibilities are endless ( med stockman, peanut, slimline trapper, sway back, etc...).

A Case Peanut with CV blade and yellow handles would work nicely.

Took the words right out of my post!

Many nice slipjoints out there you can carry, as well as many SAKs. High end, look at the CRK Mnandi and most anything from William Henry.

I carry large knives (Endura, Benchmade Bedlam, ZT 0200, etc) to the office - but I don't pull them out for co-workers to go into a panic. The Bedlam can be a pain in the butt to keep situated in my pocket (I don't clip it when in the office) but my Endura, Tenacious, Kershaw Asset don't give me any trouble.

Maybe the Kershaw Asset or a Delica would work for you. The Delica comes in several "friendly" colors.

Smith and wesson bullseye. Great small non threatening knife. I carry a bunch of stuff at work but I work in a warehouse setting. Hell on me right now at work I've got a cold steel recon 1 and super edge neck knife in plain view.

This is what I carry, but it does not sound like a good option for you because it may scare folks if you pull it out.

How about a Spyderco Dragonfly or Ladybug in bright yellow.

Today I'm carrying my full-auto 18-XRAY at work (an office job). Nobody cares around here.

In the office in addition to SAK's, I carry a Fallkniven U2 or P1 most of the time. The U2 in particular has never attracted attention and can cut pretty well anything in an office environment.
