Record Breaking BLADE Show!!!!! . . . . YOWZA ! ! ! ! ! ! . . . Thanks To All . . .

All of this hype isn't helping me forget that there are no knives left over for a Blade Ganzaaa.... :(

Just Kidding! :p All I need is the NMSHBMLB to be up on BusseCombat.com for order! :D

That would be just fine with this old swine!:)

My "old school" SHBMs could use a few pups to liven up the place.

Congratulations to the whole Busse team on your success. I just recently started frequenting these forums and I cant tell you how excited I am
to attend next years blade show ALREADY!:D This company from everything Ive been seeing is the epitome of excellence in all aspects.
You can bet your sweet bippy that Busse is where I'll be spending my money.

And on a side note does Busse show up at other small knive/gun shows?
Just interested cause Im right next door in PA.

*Edit* Oh and next years blade show Ill have to bring some homemade beer if anyone might be interested.

Ans (unofficial): yes. Keep an eye on the Busse Combat Knifeworks site for more information, although you'll also see it posted here in the Busse sub-forum. There are also occasional trunk sales ... some of which have been in your neck of the woods.

Of course, you could also just e-mail Busse. They won't keep it secret!:)

ThatMGuy also occasionally has some pieces for sale at the Indy 1500 show in Indiana and the occasional gun show as well. Hogs will usually try to meet up there and you can find pieces available that route at times.

Excellent idea! And thank you for the information. Im gonna go finally become a member too I want to support this wonderful site and the options to PM wouldnt be a bad thing either.

A trunk sale would be awesome.
Especially if it was near a pub with good food/brew. Mmmm

Mr. Busse, I can understand that they were more relaxed without the boss around, however, they would not have been as professional, courteous, and in such great moods without having one hell of a boss during their day to day lives.

This was my first knife/blade show and I enjoyed it for the most part, some of the knife people were.... odd. I am no knife collector, and I spent most of the show trying to get freebies and enter the raffles. I ended up winning a nice Esee 5P VG, a small neck knife, and a Hogue t-shirt. I tend to only buy knives I plan on using, and well, as I am no ninja, nor in many close combat situations, my knife collection is tiny. I do own a Swamp Rat Rattle-Hawk and a Rucki, however.

As for the Busse booth, all I can say is wow. Any person, regardless of what they do for a living, would say that this is how customer service should be done. I have to say the offering method was interesting and hard to understand until someone explained what the hell it was that I was trying to catch. After it was explained to me, however, I explained to at least one other person per offering after that, and I was there all weekend. Other than one guy at the booth(Yes he did work there, he threw out some offers), everyone was very nice and approachable, when you got the chance, it was always busy there. The Busse girls (Lexi, Lora, Pokie) were very professional in helping my group with any questions/purchases they had, and of the guys, Josh and Beef were whom I spoke to the most and they were good guys, whom you can tell care about the product and the work they do. Other than the one guy, I could tell all the employees love their jobs, which is a rare thing indeed. All of the people I spoke to at the induction party were very nice, intelligent, and we had a great time, although I spent way to much on beer.

I joined the forums just to let others know that Busse is the real deal when it comes to customer service.... and their knives are not bad either. I figure I might look around for a bit, see what I can pick up.

(Just to clarify, I have been using the name Porkins for over 10 years online, just a funny coincidence with how Busse works)

it was a great show. you guys had some killer blades there for sure. glad I scored a few :) and the crew did a amazing job to say the least.

Mike has nothing, he never sets up at the 1500, Hogs never go to the 1500, it's all a lie

Bahh........this sounds like Jerry.:D

If I am talking to a rep and he doesn;t know the answer to my question, isn't it standard to go find someone who does? It's cool that you got 3, sounds liek you had a good show. I need to learn how it works or something because everytime I went by there was nothing out to see or just a couple things I wasn't interested in.

Mate, I'm sorry you had a crappy experience! It is VERY unfortunate this happend, it is so unlike Busse. I plan on being there next year working the booth again, so be sure to come and see me and I will get you sorted. I will even buy you a beer at the end of the day if you want. And be sure to give Busse a call and have a chat to them, they will get you fixed up, I guarantee it.

Oh, and welcome to the forums!!! :)

I'm glad I could help with the record. I tried to resist, but I was sucked in with the "Hype" and superior products and designs. Maybe next year, I'll be able to resist.
