Paid $450 via PayPal Goods for a Busse NMSFNO knife on 3/8/2015. It is now 3/21/2015 and I have not received it and he will not return my emails.I contacted Blade Forums and asked them to contact him for me.Instead I was told to leave feedback- thanks for the concern. Oh yeah Chris Blair (Red Angel Dragnet) is a gold member with lots of transactions on Blade Forums.

Hey Chris Blair - Where is my NMSFNO I paid you $450 on 3/8/2015? Still waiting for you to answer my emails.

I hope this plays out well as Chris has lots of GOOD miles here, I have dealt with him (internationally) with no issues at all. I hope that there is simply some miscommunication and that nothing has happened with Chris.

You have recourse via Paypal as well. I would hope that Chris gets to his asap for you though as I am sure you want the NMSFNO !!

Moved to feedback

I'll send the seller a private message informing him of this thread

Fairly long time member with lots of activity, I am sure this will get worked out.

In the event that it doesn't, I hope you paid using PP Goods, you then have zero worries....

Silence is deafening!!!

There must be something Mr. Blair has to say.

If not, BAN him like the others who fail to keep their side of a bargain!!

I have never dealt with the person in question but i think a time lapse of less than two weeks is a bit soon to be calling people out by name on the internet. If he has done something dodgy it will come out in good time but having said that there are a number of reasons why someone could be a bit slow in responding to emails. I wouldn't be sharpening the pitchfork just yet.

.... I agree with the sentiment however the thread is less than 12hrs old and it is a weekend. I have certainly gone 12hrs without checking in here at this point he may be outside/away doing something that does not involve the internet.... ;)

I do not for a moment lessen the concerns of onehunter in this either, if Chris has done him wrong then there has to be consequences as well !! I just don't think, as far as this thread is concerned, I don't think the silence is YET indicative. Nor have a seen when last Chris was online etc.

I PM'ed Chris a link to this thread as well to prompt a response.

The silence I speak of is from 03/08 to 03/21

When you have a deal going this length of silence is as loud as an explosion!!!

There simply is no excuse...................................

Agree with Ira and MANY MANY OTHERs

What is the deal with many folks doing a deal...
And then going ""OFF THE GRID""??
EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE has access to emails..
IT can be set up in BF that you get an EMAIL if you have received a PM in here.
SO dont give me your lines of BS....
COMMUNICATION And Integrity are pivotal as a Member (In good standings) in BF..NOT only for each person..BUT for the FORUM Family as a WHOLE
I am VERY VERY proud to be a member here..
I have built my reputation with just that with character..integrity..and communication..
I do realize emergencies happen..LIFE stuff happens..It happens too us all.
I am personally going thru some issues with my younger brother and colon cancer..
But that is NO EXCUSE..to drop off the face of the earth..when a deal is DONE and seller has his cash and NOT
COMMUNICATE..It takes a few minutes to explain and even have a personal phone call to explain.
I am just NOT GETTING what has been happening lately in here with MANY members and ""WHY""
they have NOT BEEN BANNED and or other actions taken against them.
I fully get..WE as simple members have NO IDEA what transpires in communication between
person named and MODS..and person with the issue..
BUT Damn.. This is getting to be a serious issue in here lately........
OK Now I feel better. Off to my AA Meeting too bitch some more...
Have a good day all..
Hoping this all works out..Keep us updated..
THE SELLER """NEEDS TO PIPE IN"""

There simply is no excuse...................................

Unless something catastrophic happened in his life....

2 Weeks without a response- I'd start a PayPal dispute. It can always be resolved.

Agreed

I really do agree with this in principal, however we have no idea what may have happened to the seller in that time.

He was sent a request yesterday to clean this mess up by the mods, and considering that he has a positive history on this forum, he should get some time to respond and clean this up.

I think he has earned that right, and deserves a chance to explain his side of the story.

Let's give it a couple of days and see what happens.
There is a lot we may not know....

Sometimes people are quick to jump to conclusions. I've done it myself before :o, and sorry about your hand. That said, even if it is difficult to type, and took you an hour to write a very brief response to the OP so he didn't feel like he was being ignored or possibly ripped off, it would have been an hour well spent.
It is a lot of money to most people, and I can understand his concern.

To the OP, I understand your frustration and concern, but if you felt the need to post a possible issue, it would have been better to just use his screen name first, before publicly listing his real name. Not that anyone is trying to hide, but posting an issue with the persons real name, it is now available on the interwebs for anyone that does a search, and it doesn't go away. If he didn't reply, and you didn't get the knife after a reasonable period of time, then by all means, then post the persons actual name...

Sorry to hear about your hand. I jump to conclusions and compare folks t me and my dealings too often and that's not fair.

I, short of being in a coma always found a way to communicate with the person(s) I had an on-going deal with.

For the record, no one accused you of being a scammer or thief, rather we commented on your silence after being paid $450.

That's all, you owe me no explanation and I am sure the deal will get done.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't!! We comment all the time "post the person's name, etc" and complain screen names are useless. Then we someone does there's a comment that he should not have. The OP did not have a crystal ball, he had no idea the man with his money was on the disabled list. All he knew is that his communications to the seller went unanswered and he was frustrated to the point of exploding and felt he got shafted. He waited a reasonable period of time, he got no replies to his E-mails, he did what many of us would do, he posted names!!

I was not implying a thing..
IT was general statement and this was in the VERY SAME
Category that has been going on lately
Going off the path.
OF COURSE with the time span between the person posting and him paying
2 weeks...???
I am sorry for your hand injury..
Im certain all of that have read and or stated in this post are sorry.
BUT place yourself in his shoes??
2 weeks?
And $450 out of buyers pocket and POOF no communication--No blade
Bet your ass I would be in here posting as well.................

No PM --No email?
It may not be you..It may be the situation.
BUT we all have to admit.
These paying and not shipping THREADS are becoming more
and more frequent.
I made no implications.. EITHER way..
Just stating the facts of what has been happening and how it
applies to this deal..??
Hoping your hand gets better.
Im sure a resolution is in the works.

Guys, thank you for jumping to conclusions. I have recently had a fairly serious hand injury, typing this alone is difficult. I will be contacting the parties involved here, thanks.

First & foremost: I can truly empathize with the OP here, & I commend him for not jumping the gun & leaving negative feedback ($450 is a BIG chunk of money), even though the transaction still hadn't been completed. When you are the person involved in these type of transactions, 2 weeks, is a fairly long time, to let your mind play some of these negative "what if" games...especially in lieu of some of these thread's we read about, here in the GBU.

EDIT: Not looking good at all, for RAD...

I think most member's try their best to be understanding, & not be too judgmental; but if these new facts are accurate, RAD is loosing lots of credibility.
