  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Redmeadow pics that need a home

Thanks guys, wasn't sure if you had to have an account or not. I don't fool with much social media other than Bladeforums and Instagram. I started an X account a few months ago but haven't posted anything there. Not sure that's worth the effort.

Cool video. I do not have a IG account, but it let me watch it. Hope all is well John!
We're doing great, hope you guys are too. I'll be voluntarily unemployed by Thanksgiving and am anxious to say the least!

Kool video, one of these days I’m going to forge a knife. You gained another IG follower👍🏻
Thanks for the follow Andy. Learning to forge was a lot like learning leatherwork for me. I beat my head against the wall and didn't seem to gain any ground until all of a sudden it started to click. I still have a ways to go with both skills but am too dumb and stubborn to quit😆 It's insanely satisfying, I don't think anyone would regret giving it a shot.

Have been wanting to forge a simple coffin handle. Not much flavor to it but it'll make a nice little blade.

Practicing forging to as close to shape as I can. Started out as a 6×1×1/8" piece. Ended up around 7 1/2" oal.

John, I can't wait to see that little one all finished up. I bet it turns out sweet!
Thanks Dylan, I kept it simple and went with stabilized walnut scales and bronze pins. Heat treat is done, it's ground and ready to handsand. Scales are prepped, I'll glue it up tomorrow, it's a nicd little knife. I've got a ton of sheaths to make so I'll be knee deep in leather this week.
