Hi all, I've decided to start another WIP knife. I drew this one up back in January 2010 and finally decided to give it a go. Obviously the knife is based on the profile of a wasp, haven't decided what materials to use for it yet. Blade is 3/16" 1095, hope you guys enjoy it!

Profiled with a band saw.

Cleaned up with a grinder.

Further clean up with a rotary tool.

Starting to round the tail segments with a carbide burr.

All hard to reach areas are done with a file.

Darkened the steel to see whats going on better.

This looks to be your most complicated project to date, Serge. Waiting in eager anticipation to see the progress!

Gotta love the Coote grinder. I can recognize a Coote tool rest from a mile off...lol. :p

Thanks guys, cbr it's a Foredom Flex Shaft. Dudley, the double Forged Guard Dagger is about 1/3 done I hope I can get to it soon, keep getting distracted by new projects like this one.

What do you guys think about carving in the two lines by the head? I can't decide whether I like it there (kind of a wicked look) or if they don't fit in with the rest well.
