Rene Roy

God be with him. This is a very sad day for me. At the last NCCA show, he was telling me that I should be proud of him for yelling at his MD to get his gastric bypass surgery done and how he was going to come down and bug my ass after he lost the weight to make Damascus.:( :(
 
I am very saddened by this news. Rene was a great asset to us all and he will be missed. Rest in Peace my friend.
 
What a trajedy. RIP Mr. Roy. He was always very nice to me. I wish I'd have gotten to meet him.

and your call yesterday..it sure is sad.. I had a long talk with Rene at the Ncca show and he had some problems with his leg they were dealing with also
and there was talk by the Doc of loosing it..if it got worse..or I should say Rene was coming down on the doc about it for lack of concern by him.,, if you knew Rene you'd know what I mean :) he was getting pretty upset with the doc...
man this is sad..

that my wife's first cousin shot and killed his wife and then himself :( the funeral I hope won't be the same day .

I remember Rene having some type of health problem a couple years back but thought he was over it. Sorry to hear about his passing. Yes 42 is way to young.
 
I just spoke with Alesha this morning. They are still working out the details of the arrangements, but there will most likely be a private mass held for him on monday. I will let you know more when I know more.

One thing Alesha asked me to pass on is that since he spent most of his time at home with not much activity, he very much valued the friendships he had with those of you who posted on the forums. oh no. Rene always had a smile on his face or a kind heart in his words. Man, he will be missed.

...I'll be there ready to swap Rene stories with anyone who wants to here them.

I'll also be making up a couple things and posting them soon to help her and Rene's Mom out with expenses. I can't express how much I'm gonna miss this guy.
