Resurrection of JBF Champlin & Sons........

Here is the note we sent to all the folks on the list to get some of our last knives. Picture shows the last 3 knives made for us by Jason.

Here is an update on the JBF Champlin knives that were to be made by Eric and Jason for us. Last year we sold the rights to the JBF Champlin trademark, and part of the deal was an agreement that we would be allowed to make 40 knives before May 2026. Eric was to make 20 and Jason was to make 20. Jason was able to make 10, which was the first batch he made for us. Unfortunately, both Eric and Jason cannot get the remaining knives done by the deadline so that means there will be no more knives made using the JBF Champlin trademark marketed or sold by us. The new owners will be coming out with their own line of knives starting in June. I have been asked not to reveal who the new owners are as they would like to make that announcement. I want to thank all of you that have bought and enjoyed the knives that we have had made using the JBF Champlin trademark through these 13 years. For those of you that were on the list to get the one of the newer knives I am truly sorry that we cannot get one for you.
